Reminders
The business purpose of the travel must be clearly and explicitly indicated (e.g., "To attend the Third International Biomolecular Symposium on Seasonal Affective Disorder"). Reimbursements will be delayed for clarification purposes if the business purpose of the trip is described in vague or non-descriptive terms (e.g., "To conduct University business" or "Research trip").
Written justification is required for exceptional travel expenses. For example, if a physical impairment or condition necessitates the need to travel business/first class, a written justification is required from the traveler's physician.
