Masked Data
To ensure that we protect personally identifiable information, some data columns are masked on pages for most users. Currently these columns include social security numbers and bank account numbers.
This data is presented for the few users whose job duties require access to it. See Request access to masked data if you believe you should see this data.
On pages within BFS, data is partially masked, with the final digits presented.
Request access to masked data
If your page is displaying a masked field and you believe you should have rights to see this field, please send an email to secbfs@berkeley.edu. Please include a screenshot of the page and the field that you believe you should be able to view unmasked. The BFS Security team will work with the owner of the data and will reply to your email.
